ACCOMMODATION OPTIONS

Those coming to the SouthPole-sium will have many options for accommodations and so we won't be devoting much space to recommendations other than to mention the residential services at Trinity College and Buswells Hotel. Both are within easy walking distance of our venue.

Trinity offers summer accommodation in student facilities. See https://www.tcd.ie/summeraccommodation/ It appears from the website that they are already largely booked for 7-9 June. Saturday night seems to be the stumbling block.
But contact the Accommodation Office and perhaps something will open up.

Buswells Hotel is in Molesworth Street not at all far from the venue. It is a traditional Dublin Hotel, comfortable and not particularly touristy. See http://www.buswells.ie
We were hoping to arrange a block of rooms here, as we did the Park Inn in Oslo at the last SouthPole-sium. However, as of the moment (6 December) Buswells only has 4 rooms available for 7-9 June so no special pricing can be offered. But if you act fast you might get one of those rooms!

If price is no object then The Shelbourne, a couple of blocks along St. Stephen's Green, might be the choice for you. See https://www.shelbournespa.ie/shelbourne-hotel.

The watchword seems to be that once you know you'll be coming to the SouthPole-sium, it would be wise to book accommodation sooner than later.
