The Stormy Petrel was a newsletter issued during Richard Byrd's second Antarctic expedition (1933-34). It is mentioned in Foorsteps on the Ice: The Antarctic Diaries of Stuart D. Paine, Second Byrd Expedition, edited by M. L. Paine (2007), but no copy has been found and none is in the collection of the Byrd Polar and Climate Research Center Archival Program, The Ohio State University.
