INDEX TO ANTARCTIC OBITUARIES APPEARING IN THE GEOGRAPHICAL JOURNAL OF THE ROYAL GEOGRAPHICAL SOCIETY

This is a work-in-progress that attempts to include references to obituaries of those who have been associated with Antarctic exploration (loosely defined) that have appeared in the Geographical Journal, the journal of the Royal Geographical Society.

So far, I've covered the periods 1893 through 1895; 1900 through 1970; and 1976 to the present. It's very possible I've missed a few people. When I started this some years back, I actually went through bound volumes at the Boston Athenaeum. In recent years, I've gone through issues via Jstor.
