The following booksellers count Antarcticana among their specialities, some more so than others. Those noted with an asterisk (*) deal exclusively or nearly so in polar material.

In July I was visiting Seattle and staying with fellow-collector Marty Greene. On July 27th Marty and I took ferry out to Bainbridge Island and spent a very pleasant hour or so with Bob Finch, the dean of American polar booksellers and now retired. He and Carol have a lovely condo in the center of the main town and we enjoyed catching up. Both Marty and I—and scores of others—depended on Bob as we built our collections. Earlier on that trip I visited Cameron Treleaven, a close colleague of Bob's and the proprietor of Aquila Books in Calgary. If you're ever in the area be sure to visit the shop. It's crammed with good things. —R. Stephenson
